As the founder of Meji Meji, I leverage my background in Advertising Marketing Communication and Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Our mission is to seamlessly merge community and fashion, celebrating personal narratives and universal identities, fostering connections through shared experiences. We believe in the transformative power of fashion as a means of personal and cultural expression, aiming to create a world where every story is acknowledged, celebrated, and interwoven into the fabric of our shared humanity.

In my role, I wear many hats, including designing Merch ideas, conceptualizing content, editing, managing brand partnerships, and overseeing email marketing.Additionally, I lead the content approval process, managing projects independently from inception to completion.

Crafting trendy content with high engagement on TikTok, I curated talent and developed copy in our brand's voice. This video significantly amplified our brand awareness, harnessing the power of social media to connect with our audience and drive meaningful engagement.

Meji Meji Activation In South Africa

Secured partnership for our South Africa pop-up, attracting over 300 attendees and featuring Black Ginger Beer and Red Bull. This collaboration built brand awareness through activation and in-person experiences.

Meji Meji X Broke Boys

Our campaign in South Africa with the Broke Boy collective included precise casting, location selection, and mood board creation to achieve our visual objectives. This strategy led to a 64% sales increase and expanded our South African audience from 5% to 20%, demonstrating the effectiveness of targeted marketing.


Influencer Marketing

Sourcing influencers aligned with brand ethos and mission involved influencer marketing strategies. This included creating influencer care packages, conducting outreach, and managing proposals.
